It need EVERYTHING... any handymen or contractors need a project for a few months?

You have to meet inspectors, contractors, appraisers, attend closing, surveyors and stay in touch with lenders, etc.

I plan on getting my residential contractors license in January of 2019(since I need 2 years of experience in the industry).

I've purchased a row house and looking for a professional and experienced general contractor to handle my rehab.

I am afraid to give my only money saved and get ripped off, I am a contractor and have been doing flip homes for buyers for the last 5 years ,and I want to do my own flips ,but only have this ($3000) I'm thinking of giving them to do the deal ,and ($1000) set aside for earnest money. 

I'm branching out to Chattanooga for a potential project and I'm in need of recommendations for any reliable contractors.

As he's gotten older, the portion destined for Save and Spend have increased - though Spend is still the skinniest part of the cow.When we retrofit a building, he receives all the scrape metal (wiring, plumbing, doors/windows/siding), and in the past five years has done surprisingly well (the Cow has had to make a few trips to the bank to "poop" {as the boy likes to say}).  

Any air leakage in the ductwork should be addressed and would speak more with the contractor about options you have at this point.

Im defintley expecting to put a lot into the renovation although i have not decided on a contractor yet because i want it to be a solid home i bring him to.

Ended up getting a townhouse and going for a 203k loan, however we ran into all kinds of delays with the contractor and now the title work.
