I'm actually in a similar boat as you Tyler; fairly new to the landlord industry (due to the nature of my job) and constantly looking for new resources that might be of some benefit.

There is something about the real estate investing industry that lends itself to the mistaken assumption that investing is something other than a real business.

I was reading that for DC once you have your license for MD or VA you just need to take one-evening course to get license for DC.I currently work full time as a property manager In DC (I commute from Southern MD) and have been in the industry for over 15 years.
