This will be my first 1031 exchange and I had a couple of questions for those who have done this before:- My title exchange company said that for the 1031 exchange, I need to also roll in the money I originally put down on this property (when I purchased it as a primary residence). 

Garland, Rowlett, or Little Elm PonderYou're pretty late to the flip game with that type of budget...Not saying it can't be done, but there's no low hanging fruit esp with a wholesaler fee on top of it...

They have more skin in the game then you do.Make sure you get clear title.

I would like tips and advise, if possible, on how to invest in tax deeds remotely, and if a property is won, what would be a great game plan to have/exit strategy.

@Tim Clark  As far as I know if both people are on title, both have to sign in order to sell. 

@Martin Saenz I'm sure there are good Note Investors and bad Note Investors same as good and bad realtors.Maybe title  your post   "Traits of good Note Investors."

I would say along with everyone else to: 1) always be making connections2) always be learning3) Think of this as both a business AND a wealth building game.

Also, does anybody know a good real estate tax professional who has the capacity to take on another client this late in the game?
