If my end goal is to fix and flip houses, is it better to start wholesaling houses to earn the startup money, or find a house for a wholesale price, get a loan and buy it/fix it, and sell it?

i just dont want to get so thinned out and the markets shift and end up lossing everything...at the same time i could refinance this house take my 185k and find a house for 100-120k still have cash for repairs and rent current home out that would be cash flowing about 1500/mo while i use my construction background to fix and eventually  rent that one....thoughts i guess would be much appreciated for this newby:) thanks!

It had a bad roof and the buyer fixed the roof at his expense.

lol  Particularly is they have no idea how the business model works and the benefits experienced by consumers. 

Just fix up and screen for tenants better.

Goal for Q2 2019Because our model is broken down like an assembly line, and each position is highly leveraged on other positions, we discovered we need to make a leap of faith and triple the size of our organization.

I'm assuming we will see an uptick in both locations for a short period while the displaced individuals look for temporary housing until insurance can fix their properties.

It it better to buy a upgraded or at least fixed up 1962 built SFH around 1500sqft with a yard, and drive way or a recently built 3 level SF townhome with no yard and no driveway from a rental perspective?
