I believe the judgment was for $45 MM, whereas the LLC only listed assets of $1 MM, so there is a very limited loss, especially to Kyosaki who's personal holdings are protected since the LLC engaged in the business activities and BK.Long story short, BK doesn't build wealth.

My only other concern is that this deal will likely get dragged out for months and months, so I run the risk of tying up EMD forever, but I guess is not much different than engaging in a short sale.

Especially with really coarse paper having the drum engaged when still WILL result in a groove in the floor that you will NOT get out.
