It's just a plain piece of white wood. 

Purchase price: $87,000 Cash invested: $25,000 Twin cabins on 1AC lot in mountain community of north Georgia.Still under rehab process for one of them.Homes are siting very close together in a wooded lot.Community provided water service with a single septic for both units.

I am going to rent out two of the three bedrooms (house hacking).I’ve already made a number of cosmetic improvements to the property (garage door opener, replaced the skylight, soon to refinish the hard wood flooring, will paint and refinish the walls, etc)I plan on adding a 4th bedroom to the basement space.

Did they attach the wood with the shingles still in between the structural framing and existing roof deck?
