When you moved out you should've taken photos/video as proof of the condition of the apartment.

I'll take photo's this evening of the area, and I did a recap on the conversation and emailed it to myself as a incident type of report.

I cannot figure out how to post a photo from my phone so here is a link to some pics you can see.

Photos, etc are your friend, especially things that don't match with what's been supposedly been done.

You want to be better than them, but not so much better that people start wondering what the catch is.Edit: also consider what's underneath it, you may want carpet purely to reduce noise below.

Are your photos nice?

There are some great online resource that catch listings 24-48 hours after they are posted but the best thing todo is find a realtor and ask them to set up an auto-email for you particularly if you're in an area that has a strong market you don't want to be behind of the competition.
