Do you plan on living in it or is this for investment purposes?

I'm certainly not trying to tackle everything at once but I do want to use these areas to get started.I'm reaching out to you guys for assistance on what avenues would be beneficial/profitable and how anyone suggests I could get more knowledge or insight on how to execute these strategies.Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

New here, but have been reading the forums for several months as I consider real estate investing, but am having a hard time convincing my spouse the potential "hassle" of a poor tenant is worth the benefits.Our situation includes both of us working full time w-2 jobs and our primary goal is to assist in reducing annual tax burdens. 

I just wanted to introduce myself and brag on my town - we are experiencing a lot of growth with new developments that are geared towards bringing in Columbus folks who want to live in a more affordable area.

Also want to be sure that it is a town that is safe for families and younger couples since we would be house hacking and having tenants living beside us.

He gave me three scenarios which were absolutely crazy.One was from a landlord who used to live in Paterson, NJ, many decades ago and has had a realtor friend manage the property for the last few years while they are retired in Italy.
