I have more in the early stage than I will in any individual unit.The insurance is pricy as well.  

I thought I had a deal, so I pitched it to GA REIA Dealmaker's group for their feedback on my analysis. 

What are some of the things you look for when doing market research on an area to invest in (Population, job growth, etc.)?

Also, what are some of the platforms that have helped to find this information besides goo...

@John Underwood actually all of my properties have been purchased using an income based analysis as an investment property with a local lender. 

I am interested in Wholesaling (at least to start. for a while)  Many investors I speak to all say that it really needs to be done full time (which I can understand) however, i am not able to make a full time jump like that at this stage in my life, just yet, so _ WHO CAN I HELP??? 

I'd recommend you instead focus on finding the team members who will be of greatest help in the early stages of your journey.

I am still in the education stage of my real estate journey and am trying to decide what my investing strategy will be (primarily trying to pick between remote or in NY).

These are just a couple of things I personally look at when I am analyzing a new private fund, but of course, the analysis does not stop there.

Ask them to run a Comparable market analysis and a comparable rental analysis.

It sounds counterintuitive, but if you spread your net and search criteria into multiple markets, I promise as a newer investor you'll be stuck in the analysis paralysis phase.
