Yes, can happen in the U.S. but these issues are more transparent, more competitive so the playing field is felt more fair for the average player.  

HGTV has everyone thinking they can hang some drywall in a weekend and make $30,000, so there is a lot of competition.

depends on your property condition,  your  level of updates, your competition, your tenant pool,  your showing process,  your personality if you show it yourself,  and a crap load if other things. post a link to it and let's dissect it. 

I know of a great condo complex (Timberwood Villas) on the mainland that allows vacation rents with a high demand of repeat business and they start from $180k.As for Orlando, there is way to much competition from the hotels, the majority of Brits that come over only come for 2 weeks, as this is what the airlines restrict you too if you come over on a package.

.- dump trailer - great option if you do it often and the site has a ramp where you just back up and push a button. but the storage of that thing isn't always easy- you haul it in a truck or a van - been there, done it. cursed it every time. being cheap is never a good thing- using CL - i JUST picked a guy to do my next house interior demo. i had an ad and 10 people replied within 1 hr. i had to shut it down. they have their own tralers, so than charge me a little more than the trailer costs me AND do all the demo. fantastic option- rent a dumpster - love it. if i needed more, i call them or put a vehicle infront and they have to keep it there. sometimes extra days cost me $10 per day. well worth it. i get the 30 or 40 yardersthe problem with dumpsters is that i end up doing most of the work, and i should stop doing that.just my 2 cents

We're going to look at the minimum monthly payment, just like we would for a credit card or car loan.Technically if it's an interest only payment we are supposed to do some math that beats you up a bit more than the minimum payment, but I've never had an underwriter take out the 9 button calculator to do that math and figure out that it's an i/o payment.

,Sounds pretty competitive to me.Only thing I could see that might help you out more would be a 30 year amortization, to help with a little more cash flow. 

So i don't have an overwhelming amount of competition like other wholesalers in your area.The price points of the West coast always blow me away.

I am either not finding anything that hits the numbers I need or there is too much competition.
