I put my time and effort into a very active website and social media with free reports and articles and posts linking back to my website so I come up when people in my area search the internet on selling their house.I spoke to a competitor of mine here and he sends something like 8000 letter and has a bunch of bill boards.

There are three marketing workhorses for the pros:1) Outdoor - signs / billboards / bus signage etc.2) Direct Mail - to people with equity in their homes3) Pay-per-Click (AdWords)They also build brand awareness with things like door hangers, social media, etc. - excellent things to do for long-term success but not big lead generators in the short-term.
