As a brand new investor, does anyone have advice for me on what books, articles, etc to look into on how to manage my first property properly?

It could be physically, financially or emotionally.

Stress causes physical problems such as depressed immune systems that can make one vulnerable to infections, flu, and even cancer.

@Valerie King - I wrote an article a while back that covers a few things you can do to be prepared for your CPA.  

No matter how 'hard' it may be to collect a physical check from a tenant, I'll never use one of these online services again for one simple reason ACH transactions are VERY simple for a tenant to have their bank reverse - leaving you holding the bag.

I always like to physically see where my money is tied up at and who is involved with my projects, but that's my personal preference.
