For my own sanity (it is extremely stressful to have the new folks pressuring you) I would wait to promise the ready date until these guys move and you have a handle on what needs to be done to turn the unit.Another thing I do in my ads (aside from saying 'we check references') is ask a few questions and allow folks to respond at first by anonymous e-mail only.
