That's odd especially because if you have no inspection contingency (rare and not usually recommended) then typically there wouldn't be an inspection at all in that scenario, unless there is an agreement that it’s for informational purposes only.Paying over ask and still having to waive inspection is rough.

I do like the idea of buying a home where everything is still under warranty, although the idea of buying something that doesn't exist yet gives me some pause.
