I respect it, a lot of people buy in markets they are interested in so they can get some utilization out of the property too.  

It is great that you are doing some due diligence before jumping in.

My wife and I have enjoyed the MTR strategy for about 4 years now, and I think it is a viable way to "do" real estate, but it is definitely an acquired taste that not everyone is going to enjoy.MTR isn't quite LTR, and it isn't quite STR, and it definitely isn't just merging the two together.

But that is just what I heard from 1 person, I never researched it so I don't know any more about it.

Don't depend on others to do it for you.
