If I wanted to invest in real estate and create real wealth, I could do it just as well as the next guy.Five years later I had 33 rentals, 135 storage units, 100% financial freedom, and my rentals earn as much as I do from my work.

That being said, the earlier you start taking action and buying properties, the quicker you'll hit financial freedom, retire, accumulate wealth, etc.

I want to have time freedom now, not when I only have 15 years of quality life left.

Currently in a “career job” that I really enjoy, but looking to dive fully into creating a Real Estate portfolio in pursuit of financial freedom so I can spend more time with my wife and 6mo.

My boyfriend and I are looking into moving to Dripping springs for more financial freedom as we are currently living in California.

@Michelle Garcia I'll give you my input and you may find it a bit biased but keep in mind, I started out as an investor, found financial freedom as an investor and still am a current investor which now happens to also run a property management company and hold a license. 1 - It is more 'beneficial' to use a property manager, period.

I was doing this just because I crave so much to quit my 9-5 and live with financial freedom.

That strategy, philosophy, etc. is a little different that most of the people on the BP forums because they are a.) typically newer investors and b.) skew towards the "replace my W2 with cash-flow for financial freedom" ilk.   

You can FOIA (Freedom of Information Request) the water records with the city to confirm your suspicions on paying the water bill.
