I have talked to Furnish finders I just wanted to verify they or concept was authentic.  

Moreover, I understood the importance of the concept of diversification aka not having all my eggs in one basket.The reality is that assets and money by themselves don't give you (financial) freedom if all you have is within a single country and at the whim of a single government.

I keep up with my local business by reading my citites business journal.....for example the St Louis Business journal.....and that has rates and has a real estate section etctheres also a larger wesbite that keeps me updated on everything in the whole state.....

I can understand where you're coming from but similar to what @Marcus Auerbach mentioned, you need to look out for yourself.Continue to educate yourself with books like the Simple Path to Wealth and podcasts like BP Money (in addition to the real estate content of course) as it sounds like you may be curious about more than just real estate advice.Even if you choose to work with an advisor in the future, it's important that you understand the concepts and how to articulate your goals.
