How are all these stories on BP videos making enough to live off real estate income to replace their salaries?

I'm seeking advice on my current situation and the best route for achieving my real estate goals.For context, I'm 23 years old, living in Providence, RI, with the aim of owning 5 rental units and my own home in the next 10 years.

I heard Section 8 does not allow extra non-benefit member living in the house. 

However, the tenant and partner, who originally stated they lived at the same address, had two different addresses on each driver's license, which raised some suspicion. 

This is mainly because they are not going to like tenants you select to live with them, in their home and share their yard.

Initially, my family and I lived in this house for a couple years before deciding to rent it out, anticipating a market recovery from the 2008-2012ish recession.

I need flips IN VOLUME to build cash and have money to live on.

Network as well and go to local real estate meet ups.For funding: you can HELOC, find a private lender to lend you 20% down, find a capital partner, or just live below your means for a little while and save till you have the 20% down (can go higher or lower than 20%, but 20% is generally required for fix&flips & BRRRR loans if not going conventional).
