The self dealing aspect is what gives Real Estate agents a "bad image" ( I could have used more colorful language but out of respect did not).  

This is a perfect price range to get started in parts on NYC. 

I have been asked to speak about different topics ranging from Top Landlord Pitfalls that will get you sued, Fair Housing Violations, Tips and Tricks to Lease your house... etc..Because I am investor that started out as an Airline pilot and started buying homes after 9/11 and then subsequently created a management company I have different take on being a property manager.

Here in SC, I focus on properties in the 50k range and sell them for 100k once remodeled.  

Tracy, CA Home, value is 400K, rental income is 2100-2400/month range (signing property agreement next month, converting this to rental from prior primary residence); no debt, no mortgage.2.

Houses here range from $30,000-$60,000. 

San Jose and surrounding areasCould someone give me a very broad range of prices and frequency of new construction projects around 30-50 sq. miles around downtown San Jose.  

Just looking for an approximate range, are we talking $5k-$10k or $40k-$50k?
