I was shocked.

Unless you have a leaking roof or are getting shocked every time you plug something in or flip a light switch, there is a vast gulf between NEEDS and WANTS. 

Every market is unique so maybe Colorado is less but I was a bit shocked by that.

I scrolled a few posts down only to discover (to my shock) that someone responded back that they hoped the investor didn't take the property in their own name. 

My wife and I have done some preliminary research and we decided that turnkey is the best way to buy our first investment property.Just want to see if anyone have any experience, feedback, and things to watch out for investing in the Indianapolis market.Much appreciated,Jack 

You’d be shocked by how little actual screening many PMC’s do!

I expect if/when I get to the point of actually bidding out a real rehab I will run into some sticker shock. 

Years ago, I bought a handful of shares, with splits, turned to 1,000, so this past year, when the stock went from $80 to $130, I was shocked, but pleased. 

My lawyer was so shocked by their refusal to take our settlement offer that she asked their lawyer if they maybe wanted that we also include a winning lottery ticket into the settlement.
