I personally wouldn't renegotiate the terms 10 years later but I wish you luck.

It does no good to place capital with a sponsor who has an attractive deal to find out later they can't be trusted.

I'd like to start my real estate journey sooner rather than later, and in a place where I can be hopeful to land a home in, but should I also consider I may need a few more years of saving?
