Plus, GSA did not follow a very strict auction format, they would extend the auction if it would help them get a higher price - not cool.

Unless your contract has verbiage that buyer has right to extend closing date x number of days by giving verbal or written notification your contract will be void and you will probably lose your SMALL EMD.If you probably can't find a buyer, it's probably not a great deal.
