Socialist normally look at housing as a wealth generator for those renting, so that could encourage home ownership with could be in your target zone.Bad thing for long term investors is they have talked about eliminating 1031 exchange.

I think RE property management is a good idea, but I would also encourage you to look into something more broad like  accounting, marketing or finance.

We have had tenants try to kill deals and encourage deals.

I encourage you to go into this plan eyes wide open that the housing prices could tumble here as we continue to move through uncharted territory, and come up with a strategy to protect that position... 

If you are uneasy I strongly encourage you to use a buyer's agent because using the listing agent can be used against you if you are not sure what to look for and need guidance throughout the process.

You’ll just have to give them some encouragement to get on the roof and make sure their camera cord is long enough.

I would encourage you to continue with all of that stuff (I try to make it a daily habit to at least read one blog, listen to one podcast, etc.).
