The cheap plastic connections work best in dry areas, i.e. there won't be any standing water.

---------------------------The house, as you say, has been relying on HVAC for overcoming no insulation and vapor intrusion (although, for the vapor part of the equation, the HVAC may not be contributing much to dry-out depending on wall covering or paint type.) 

I washed it with TSP and water and let it dry, and then I used the "bright white" Sherwin-Williams base paint, with no tint in it whatsoever. 

He fixed some dry rot around the toilet, but didn't check the underside carefully enough (from the crawl space) and left a small spot of mold.

The only times I have had problems with it is when it was waaaayyy too hot to be painting and the paint dried faster than it could settle out.

I'd be tempted to pour a ~4" flat slab with plumbing run before pouring and then do a dry mix mud pan just like a shower over it and do some small porcelain tiles. 

I guess when the acting gigs dry up, it beats cutting baloney at the local supermarket deli!

I am an introvert by nature, and if we don't have any type of social relationship, I can be a bit dry when talking .

I just want to know what people think about what i have so far and if you have any suggestions please respond I am a dry sponge let me soak up your knowledge!
