Real Estate Investing is 10x harder when your spouse hates it and is constantly worried about it.  

Constant turnovers, evictions & renovation costs will eat away at your profit.

I see it constantly.

Or has the individuals net worth remained constant at $1,000,000.01 since no equity was created and the market agrees that the home's value is $200k?  

Second, for real estate investors, especially those who flip, need constant capital.

After constantly hearing about the importance of mentors and partners, I search through Craig's List, and found someone to work with.

I'm going to add to this as I constantly receive those letters and postcards on some of the land I own that once had a crappy house.I receive a ton of letters and post cards. 

I have the same issues when I invest in equities and its been a shortfall that I've had to constantly work on through defining my investing process and sticking to that process so that I don't give that little greedy voice an opportunity to rear its head. 

Also I imagine it is not a flag motel which means your marketing is reliant on public sites like priceline and trivago which require constant updating with pricing to reflect the time of year and having to manage a reservation system to go with those sites.
