So I could tell them now and they could take some of their ire out on the outgoing landlord.

I just switched out the door handle for a non-locking one in one of our units so there's no chance they'll lock themselves out.

The plan is to move into the new home, live in it for 2 years, and then repeat the process of purchasing additional properties.Additionally, while we continue to build equity in our current home, we plan to rent it out.
