I teach new investors in the area how to navigate through the Newport market.

@Whitney Payton be careful with the shark agents out there just looking to sell you anything, or the ones who do not take the time to know, and understand what you want exactly.

They will be a resource and sometimes offer some classes etc. to help you with navigating the rules.Get legal advice for the owner move-in.  

Be prepared to survive the Bigger Pockets 'shark tank'.I'm grabbing popcorn.

Expertly navigating that negotiation, understanding what the upper and lower limits of value are, that is what a great agent does effortlessly.

The only way we were going to be successful is if we found an architect and construction manager with decades of experience who could help us navigate the complex waters of real estate development.
