I imagine the title company will have an interesting time determining who those heirs are under the laws of some foreign nation.On top of that you'll need to be sure that FIRPTA is dealt with properly... withholding is the responsibility of the buyer.Good luck.

Now is probably a good time to look, too, 'cause I imagine summer gets booked out reasonably far in advance, so hopefully that would give you a fairly decent idea of demand and price for those kinds of units.

Imagine the borrower would need a General Warranty Deed, how would the CFD holder provide that as he had received a Quit Claim Deed when he acquired the asset and the contract?
