@Michael Dang I have a question about the market in Houston, particularly by the UH campus.

Are you looking in the Houston area or elsewhere?

I have 2 places in Houston, but one gets about $200 more than the other, just based on the neighborhood and areas where  they are located . 

Charlie, I know a guy here in Houston that does something similar, but he runs a company that raises money from missions-minded churches and members to fix up and manage 4-unit complexes for ministries and people who need stable housing.

Hi BP Community,I'm preparing to buy my first property in Houston, Texas.

Havent been to any in Houston but the one In Galveston and Beaumont  has a contractor desk in the back. 

As and example, the deal I'm currently working on (in Houston, Texas) is a 4-plex of 1 br 1 bths that I'm buying for ~50K. 60K in rehab with an ARV of $175K to 200K (no comps in the area). 

Unless this is Houston you might run into zoning issues.
