Make sure to stay on top of things and don't trust too many people (especially the so-called experts). 

There is not a lot of data for MTR comps so I look on FF to see how many MTRs are in my area and what the rate is, and I play around with AirBnb to see what  a monthly stay would cost.

Keep it up and stay connected. 

What I've seen before is the only time rules are enforced are when neighbors get pissed (ie STR neighbors).I would side with caution on this, especially if it is a newer built community where the rules are fresh with people.

Since you're new to real estate (according to the title), you really don't have anything to base it on other than your own personal experiences staying elsewhere.

Does anyone know if there is any flexibility here, including if I can keep the HELOC if I have had it for 12 months (so stayed in the Primary Residence for a year after the HELOC started)?
