Another reason why I would like to move is because I have a 1 hour commute to/from work (2 hours total)...plus rising gas costs and frequent oil changes.

Is there a source for the following data;  I am looking for the "norm" for the expense ratio (based on either GPR or Gross Income) for individually metered garden style apartments in the south east and the mid Atlantic (Region IV) : Marketing Insurance Janitorial Service Lawn/Snow Licenses Miscellaneous Professional Fees Accounting Legal Property Management Fees Repairs and Maintenance Resident Superintendent Salaries and Wages Supplies Taxes Real Estate Personal Property Payroll Other Trash Removal Utilities Electricity Fuel Oil Gas Sewer and Water Telephone Other (whatever I missed)

The park grosses around 375k per year.  15 min to downtown San Antonio and backs up to a river for fishing, kayaking, and swimming. 

Get a piece of dirt and build an RV park for oil field workers.

Hi everyone, I have a 4 unit that still uses oil for baseboard heat.

I am quite content with a little hunting and fishing and playing some golf at the local muni.

Considering the oil crash over the past few years didn't have much of an impact on the real estate market, I'm curios to see what will. 

One has a harpoon and one a fishing pole.

But it is a bit risky and there's usually a big fish at the auctions who buys up most of the properties (and bids up the rest).

With all the work and oil out here they are building like crazy.
