Multiple thefts and numerous police calls involving suspected drugs led me to believe this property would be a nightmare to manage so Id id not keep to rent.Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?

I am confident I can walk down any street in Columbus without getting shot as long as I am not trying to rip off drug dealers. 

It also listed a felony out of NY for level 4 drug possession, but little other info, not even a date, though it did include a case number.  

It is well known among the area that this is a problem area for some drug use and shady people.

They are sold at most drug stores.  

I had a corner property and some locals were selling drugs right out of a spot across the street. 

Just because you have one tenant who has been good for a year doesn't mean the next one won't sell drugs from your front door.

On the other hand knowing the the blue house on the corner has always been a drug house, or the train runs through the neighborhood at night, or the neighborhood is starting to go downhill with rentals is important to know.Just seeing the numbers on the mls doesn’t tell you enough to evaluate, but knowing market, city, neighborhood, and blocks tell more of the story.
