Leasing is a whole different animal and is different than selling the property to a new owner.Leasing there is upfront fees and then usually built in ongoing residuals for the broker.

That attorney wasn't too happy; and then the next sale they tried it again (but nobody bid above the bank's bid that time, so the plaintiff got the property).Also, Bill will confirm this, but any overage that a foreclosing lender receives at the foreclosure auction must be paid to the other lien holders in order of priority, with any residuals then going to the defaulted borrower (former owner).
