Hello everyone,

My name is Ryan Owen. I am excited to join BP and have been following some of the conversation here. The information flow is staggering!

About Me: I am new to real estate investment and interested in flipping, renting, and wholesaling. I have been involved in several long-term flips in my life since my dad renovated every house we bought and successfully sold them all at a substantial profit. I was the labor side of the "family business".

My goal is to build enough residual income to purchase, move aboard and live on a sailboat again. Then it's off to the tropics for retirement while a PM company manages the properties.

Like most of America, I was wiped out by the 2008 market turn but was able to hold on to my 401k. I cashed it out and used the funds to purchase my first home. I just cash-out-refi'ed it and am looking for the next property. I should say I purchased my home for 75k in 2011, renovated it, and it just appraised at 160k.

I am always looking for advise, comments, and critique so please don't be shy!

Cheers!
