Hi Jeff,That's a great theoretical question, and one I used to ask myself when I was 15 years younger and fresh out of undergrad with "efficient market theory" "optimal capital structure" "modern portfolio theory" "increased returns are correlated with increased risk" and other articles of faith that had been passed off as fact by the professors in the economics department at my very prestigious college.A decade and half later I no longer buy into the idea that markets are efficient - neither stock markets, nor real estate.There is a deep divide between people who buy the theory and those who don't.

During undergrad, I majored in economics; I can say it definitely gave me a good quantitative background and I feel that it gave me a good foundation to think out-of-the-box when approaching problems.

I found my undergrad and grad experiences to be fascinating, fun, and wonderful.

However, I never did anything while I was in undergrad.

I have paid off all my schooling (undergrad and grad) and also have my CPA.

I recently finished my undergrad but haven't jumped into the job market just yet.

I am 19 years old and I will be graduating undergrad in the spring of 2020.

I'm also in my last semester of undergrad in which I am taking four courses, so this is going to be a busy semester for me. 

I went to a no name school for undergrad doing a liberal arts major and could not even get interviews.
