We got one offer late last year, still listed for sale but content to keep operating and cash flowing Lessons learned?

I'm wondering how anyone does it in this area, or maybe I just have not been looking for long enough.I really would like to purchase in my area as it would be my first rental property, and I am most familiar with the northern VA area If this is not to be, I also am wondering what markets nearby would be better.I’m also in Fairfax County, and you’re absolutely right: Fairfax County and much of Northern VA are tough markets for cash flow, especially starting out without a substantial down payment.

I believe this is why policy-makers on both sides of the political aisle are starting to see the promise that renewables offer over traditional forms of energy, which are becoming increasingly expensive for the government to continue propping up and bailing out.  

Cities like Cleveland offer affordable properties, strong rental demand, and solid cash flow potential.

There have been brokerages offering flat fees and failed.

I chose at the time to decline their offer.
