I have no dog in this fight as far as texting goes, just surprised at all the soap box preaching. 

Make sure you have some popcorn because it reads like a soap opera (a bad one).

If you want to take care of it yourself block off the areas during demolition and do a good job cleaning with soap and water.

Then you wait for a response then return on your soap box. 

The cracks are on the soap holder portion of the bathtub. 

@Sarah Kensinger The 30% is due to the property being deemed a Condotel, where it operates similar to a hotel with full service, including changing out the soaps.

Like a couple garbage bags, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, and a scrubby sponge.

@Charles SmithI did this exact size bathroom this year. 30" vanity, new tub, tiled from floor to ceiling white subway tile on 3 walls and like a black slate tile on the back of the shower with a cut out for a soap dish.

It's hard to tell from the pics but the tub and the soap dishes seem to be some shade of green.
