Lovely LVP floors with a special subfloor for warmth . . .So, then we had about two years of figuring out exactly what was wrong and fixing it . . . flooded each time we had a really hard rainstorm (we can get 4 inches in an hour!)

If the tech says it is broken because the tenant did something wrong then you can state that to them and let them know if there is an issue they will be responsible but buying used and wanting the tenant to be responsible I don't think is fair.
