Go to local REIA meetings or check on Network tab at the top of the screen and click on Events and see what's going on near you so you can exchange ideas and ask questions of local investors.

I understand the value of networking of course, and meetups, and there are a few that I've found informal (we meet at starbucks every monday afternoon) ... but I'm curious about these membership associations.
