I was thinking about moving my current IRA that I use to invest in stocks and move it over to a SDIRA with checkbook control so I could invest in real estate instead.

I am an avid investor but have been disappointed with mutual funds, 401Ks, IRAs, etc. my current job does not offer any sort of retirement plan and I am looking to do what I can actively to make up for that.

Thanks for the information, i logged onto their site and they have a huge inventory. do you know if they will sell to an IRA, i read earlier that they would not sell to an LLC.

I'm changing jobs to a remote private sector position and rolling my 401k over to a traditional IRA.

This would be my first deal and I am looking to buy and hold as a rental.I thought about pulling 30k from my ira.
