I already own one income property and love the Lansing area potential due to the University and local colleges. 

I'll throw one more possibility onto the list:Some come from a societal background where renting is the norm.The cultural push toward home ownership we experience in North America is not universal.  

I have a degree in chemical engineering and work "passively" in REI.  

We have a friend who we have an extremely high degree of trust in, in fact they may end up being named as getting custody of our children if something were to happen to both of us, serious trust here. 

When I did a test on a living room and invited a number of people for an opinion the white was universal across the board liked by all.  

You can even visit local universities and seek out the advise of people within a business department.

Unfortunately, I went through a tough divorce and loss of employment (was a university professor for 8 years) so my credit really tanked.

I have about 2 years left for my degree.

I have a degree in interior design and have a small portfolio (including remodels), I've gone through a 10 week wholesale coaching program, reading real estate investing books, and listening to BP podcasts, so I'm not entirely naive.

I work at a Keller Williams office in the University Area.
