I am not aware of any extensions for this type of stuff but every time something appears to run out  it gets extended 

I don't understand this stuff that well (hence me relying on people a lot smarter than me), but it appears that he's hitting me on both ends with his assessment of my taxes to form his DTI. 

It’s almost comical how towns can randomly do stuff.

If the property is already rented and I’m just keeping it as Is with tenants in place and it’s got older systems in place and I figure some stuff is going to be needing replacement shortly I’ll use 8% and I’ll also try to have some cash reserves in place.

I came at it more of the angle that I'd need time to pack up my stuff, get movers, etc.

And they will stand by their work for a while at least.You don't need to take on any more stuff as a landlord.

I'd go with @Scott Mac's recommendation.Since you know approximately when they will arrive, you can ask the police to stake it out.

Gave them extra time to live in the space (cabinets were going to take 8-10 weeks to arrive so we let them live in the space for an extra 4 weeks while they looked for their next space.

Gotta make it over the analysis paralysis but once I do I can figure out the core four, running deals and other stuff.
