Would it be smart for someone like me to do that with no real-life experience buying a home?  

If you have the property address, purchase price, rehab budget, and ARV, a smart lender can make a pretty quick decision.

You could choose to go buy a car with it, or do the smart thing and re-invest it, but it's still a cash-out refi.

What sort of technology do you use for the printouts you're putting on here?

I am the financial/operations guy, one partner is hands on/construction experience, and the other is people oriented/sales experience (not in real estate).A few questions- is it smart to form a partnership in real estate if you know the people you are surrounding yourself with are in it for the same reason as you?

Would it be smart to:  pay one of my parents utility bills (and have them reimburse me?) 

Do you think this would be smart so I can make an offer?

Stated otherwise, is this the kind of property you think would be a smart long-term investment (good location, good bones, charm, etc.)?  

Somewhere along the way it even ended up replacing technology as my biggest interest and passion.
