As a seller with a skillful handyman it’s easy to patch and hide problems.

This makes sure you are compensated for your effort / time / skill. 

I know I have the charisma, the drive and the willingness to learn new skills to become a real estate investor, but so does everyone else who reads a BiggerPockets book and attends a Meet Up or two.

Investing OOS requires a high level of education and skill.

Finding an investor, wholesaler, or similar to work for in some capacity would definitely get you more skills and exposure to different business models.
