It's not whether or not I can solve the problem, whatever it is, but how much of my time this will encompass and what else could I do during that time that produces equal or higher profit with less hassle or risk.

We recently rented for change of employment, and I had to show proof in writing from owner for their files before they would let us put cable in another room.  

So now you have a property that cost you nothing and is producing you income for life, only time.  

I am only 23 so I don't mind waiting the extra year to get my first income-producing property, but rather house hack if the deal presents itself.
