Newbie from Brockton, MA

Hello everyone,

my name is Dimitry Adonis. i am new to biggerpockets as you can tell by my post title. i am currently employed as a Financial Analyst at a major financial institution in the New England area. I hold a masters of science in accounting, and i have experience in the health care industry & Banking. My current role invovles analyzing loan profitability, assesing portfolio risk and designing new process/methodology to maximize profits for my employer. i work scpecifically with mortgages, so i have seen and gain a deep understanding on how a mortgage work and the profits behind them. that said, it made me realize that if i couldn't be a lender i could probably an investor or whosaler to maximize my cash flow. i plan to be financial independant by the time i am 45. i am now 32, so i only have 13 years left the clock is thicking!

i discovered about Biggerpocket though a book that i innitially bought on audible.com "The Book on Investing in Real Estate with No (and Low) Money Down" by Brandon Turner. i wich i had know about Biggerpockets sooner. i would have probably been closer to my goal by now. as a starte, i am looking to whosale first in order to raise capital for flipps & buy & hold properties. Since i have the skill set to analyze financial transactions, i plan to use  that in my wholesaling buisness to get things moving quick.
