Someone mentioned to me that the city is trying to slow down on expansion of homes to encourage affordable housing.  

It encourages the lot of us to get together and network, and it has been great growing friendships, sharing resources,and doing deals!

I posted the unit to Facebook marketplace without an address, and also have been utilizing the Zillow rental manager platform to post there as well.

He also highly encouraged going to local meetups  So that is something I'll definitely be looking into.

@Aaron AbrahamThank you for the encouragement and the advice, I feel as though bigger pockets is going to change my life and change my way as to how I conduct my mindset regarding buying assets in the real estate asset class.

I think, for the most part, we have all failed to provide that person with the help and information they were truly seeking and have instead used this platform in the same way most people use facebook: to blurt out our personal opinions and accuse all those who disagree in any way of being shortsighted.  

I would encourage you to continue attending REIAs/meetups to build your network.
