In MN right now the multi-housing market is pretty tight which is good for sellers but to get solid sales prices we would have to rely on local realtors or appraisers in the area.

I better understand and appreciate the concepts of diversifying our risk and scaling the growth of our real estate portfolio.I would love our next property to be a multi-family so we can eventually live in one unit and rent out the other(s).

From an investment perspective, I’m interested both multi-family and self-storage opportunities (I have a little bit of knowledge from my self storage experience and I’m completely new to multi-family). 

While the tenant moving out and needing to do the rehab sooner than expected, I like staging renovations on multi families across a few years.

I am looking to repeat the process on a multi family house in the near future but the owner occupied rules are throwing me off.Thanks again!

You can always discount the rent 50 to 100 bucks a month to get it rented real fast.
