I recently rented out my first property in North Jersey and the township require me to register the property and pay a registration fee every year.

Hi everyone, I have noticed that a lot of the meetups in my relative area (north of Atlanta), are at times and locations that unfortunately are not work schedule-friendly for me. 

However, I'm not opposed to anywhere north, NE, or NW OTP. 

@Antoine Pippens I believe one of those "loopholes" is if you have to move further than 70 miles from your current residence for work.

The other building was a few miles away, and was a 31 units, 26 residential and 5 commercial units. 

We live 20-30 minutes north of Lansing and are only investing locally where we can easily care for our properties - all SFH at this point.  

I am in Shelbyville IL. about 60 miles south and West of Champaign.

I was hoping to raise cash, pay the seller, lightly rehab the two units (they’re both already in good shape and wouldn’t take more than 3-4,000 each to make them higher end rentals in the area), raise rents (at least $100 too low per unit), and then refinance out in which I think the property would then be worth north of 100,000.
