New to REI; Planning to Start This Year

Hi everyone! My name is Billy, and I am new to the REI landscape. I have been spending the last few months extensively watching podcasts, reading books, the BP forums, and practicing analyzing properties. My plan is to purchase a house hack this year to get started. I would like to begin investing in BRRRR properties soon thereafter. I moved to the Atlanta area 3 years ago, and plan on starting out here. But I would also like to start investing out-of-state as I gain more experience. I know "Detroit" seems to be a dirty word on the podcasts, and in some of the forums. But I was born and raised in metro-Detroit, and do plan on investing up in the Michigan area at some point.

On a personal note, my main hobbies are working out, playing guitar or drums, and occasionally hopping on Xbox Live to play with my brother and friends back home in the Mitten.

I am an introvert, but I do still enjoy meeting and talking to people.  Feel free to reach out to me if you actually find me interesting at all, and I will be more than happy to talk.  I know there is so much to learn, and I'm looking forward to meeting any of you on this journey!
